We’re always messing about with PSUs, and our scrappy bit of cardboard just doesn’t cut it any more. We’ve put together this little diagram to help you (and us!) remember both the PSU pin layout and cable colours for the Amiga PSU.
Cable Colours
- Black: GND / GROUND
- Brown: +12v
- White: (-)12v
- Red: +5v
- Yellow: Shield
Remember that these colours might be different, so always check the voltages with a multimeter before you connect it up to your Amiga,

Our PSU guides / Tutorials
We’ve put together a lot of PSUs for our Amigas, personally, we just don’t trust the original power supplies. Click below for our PSU guides / Tutorials articles.
Our favorite has to be our most recent build with the USB-C powered Amiga PSU. Having a portable Amiga absolutely rocks. We’re working on a new project to have a fully standalone setup that doesn’t need mains power at all.
