Some say never meet your childhood heroes, the case of Sonic the Hedgehog – they were wrong.
It might be beautiful and vibrant colours from the RGB output, being wonderfully scaled by our Open Source Scan Converter (OSSC). It also might be that the original Sonic is a true masterpiece! Selling over 15 Million copies!
This was my first play in nearly 30 years and my only disappointment in was my own performance. Whilst I remember it being accessible, I don’t remember some of the levels being so relentless. Now it’s time to get some practice and see if I can once again complete this epic game for the first time in many many many years.
